Rev. Elaine Smith
Rev. Elaine Smith was a Reiki Master / Teacher, and counseled people through Energy Balance.
In addition to traditional ceremonies, Rev. Elaine Smith enjoyed combining alternative elements into the ceremonies she created with couples to be married. A practicing Reiki Master Teacher for 10 years, Rev. Smith had experience with group Reiki healings, crystal energy grids, drumming circles, special blessings and clearings, and other possible additions to your wedding.
Rev. Smith was also a licensed Massage Therapist and Specialized Kinesiologist credentialed to teach Touch for Health. This understanding of how energy works throughout our bodies, energetic fields, emotions, etc., allowed her to successfully counsel people and families with Energy Balance. This system was good for individuals and couples. It was an especially good method for creating bonds in families that were blending together in a marriage.
Energy Balance
This form of counseling was recommended for those who were open minded and looking for a system that truly honors the mind, body, and spirit connection in any form of healing. Many elements could be combined to help find a balance in your emotional well being including but not limited to: Kinesiology (muscle testing), Flower Essences, Aromatherapy, Oracles, Crystals, Reiki, and more.
The Energy Balance was used for something as simple as an "off" feeling day that you wished to balance out. It was a great method to use for breaking old patterns and negative self talk that you wished to stop. It possibly shone best when used as a form of group family counseling especially with a couple who was attempting to blend two families of teens or pre-teens. Children did not have to "talk" to participate in these sessions.
The session started with the forming of a goal for the energy to be balanced. This may have been an emotional issue or physical complaint. Once the goal was set the balance began. The average session was 90 minutes. Simple issues often took only one session. A series of sessions was usually recommended.
If you liked, elements from these sessions were blended into your wedding ceremony for a truly healing experience.
